Hi! I’m Cristin Allen.

I am a former D1 college soccer player turned coach, wife/mom, mentor, and leadership advocate. With over 20 years of experience in athletics—from serving as a Division I SEC assistant coach, to a youth club coach, and an Executive Director of Coaching—I’ve dedicated my career to developing athletes and leaders. Today, I’m a Division III head college soccer coach, and my passion for leadership extends beyond the field.

I hold a United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma and Sport Performance Diploma, and I am a Christian Certified Leadership Coach accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

As a woman in leader in leadership, I’ve spent much of my career navigating male-dominated spaces, particularly in college athletics. The pressure to balance work, life, and do it all well was overwhelming at times, and I found myself searching for the kind of support that truly understood my experience. I began to find my trusted circle of female leaders—women who had walked similar paths—and through those connections, I found the confidence to lead with clarity, purpose, and authenticity.

Throughout my journey, I realized that principles of high performance in leadership aren’t just for the playing field, but they are the same principles that drive success in every arena where women are stepping up as leaders. The ability to set a vision, navigate challenging situations, lead with confidence and bring out the best in those around you is just as crucial off the field as it is on the field.

This is why I created First Teammate Leadership—to be the support system I once needed. My mission is to empower women leaders to navigate challenges, make bold decisions, and step fully and confidently into their leadership.

You don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to help you lead with confidence and with the strength of a great teammate by your side.
